Making of: Bloed, zweet & blaren

A little breakdown of Bloed, Zweet & Blaren.
All models where sketched. After a storyboard the layouts and colorschemes were made.
Then all the characters were modelled in 3D. When they were positioned correctly we sculpted the final details.
The faces had to be matched with the real characters so we shot photos of them and run it through 3D face generation software. This gave us a good model to start with. The faces were then sculpted until they matched. After sculpting the hair the 3D models were done. All the models are digitally hand painted.

Next were the creation of sets and the setup of all lighting. After rendering only a little compositing was needed to create the final look.
